Distribution: North and South Islands, and Chatham Islands. Has spread to southern Australia and Tasmania [A.C.F.M.]
Notes: Cushion Star. Endemic. 5 arms, sometimes 4 or 6, colour highly variable, sometimes mottled. Intertidal to sublittoral
